Veiled women now allowed to sit ten steps behind Obama

Barack Obama personally apologized to two Muslim women who were prevented from sitting in the background of a photo op. Campaign staffers removed Hebba Aref and Shimaa Abdelfadeel, both of whom were veiled, without consulting with the Senator. Said Obama:

The actions of these volunteers were unacceptable and in no way reflect any policy of my campaign. Our campaign is about bringing people together.

Well, if Senator Obama can offend Muslims and then just say sorry, who can't? In fact, people who wouldn't think twice about offending Muslim women are hedging their bets and sending their regrets:
