Aw, girl. If Terry McAuliffe was telling the truth (!), today is your last day in the Democratic primary.

Shoot.

We know the pain of a dream denied, and our hearts are breaking for you, just a little bit. Eight years ago, who could have predicted that you would become the default C-word? Who would have thought that upon hearing the name "Clinton," our thoughts would turn to you and not that two-term albatross around your neck?

You ran an amazing campaign, always two steps ahead of the Republicans on Obama's race, his preacher, his race, his inexperience and of course, his race. Your scorched earth policy left the GOP smear merchants with nothing but Michelle Obama, and guess what? She ain't running.

Well done. Well done.
