Glass ceiling survives Hurricane Hillary
Sorry, gals. She'll make a great Senate Majority Leader!
Female Clinton supporters are coming to grips with the fact that their candidate is not going to be the Democratic nominee, and they aren't happy about it. A 48-year-old real estate agent from Columbus, Ohio said, "Women felt this was their time, and this has been stolen from them." And a 67-year-old clerical worker felt that Clinton's primary losses were a result of sexism. Pointing to her own past, she said, "They always gave us the clerical jobs and told us we didn't have families to support."
How can Barack Obama convince these disgruntled voters that he deserves their vote? By launching a campaign directed at them.
