Last week a New York Times editorial called for more disclosure from the McCain campaign, including the release of his multi-millionaire wife's tax records, arguing that disclosure of Cindy McCain's finances could address concerns over potential conflicts of interest for McCain, as well as concerns about how much he benefits from his wife's wealth.

When Cindy McCain was asked about her tax returns on the "Today" show, she trained her ice blue glare on Ann Curry and made it clear she would never release her individual tax returns for public scrutiny, claiming that she is not the candidate and that her tax records are private.
