A judge infuriated every black person in New York acquitted three NYC police officers of all charges Friday morning in the 2006 shooting death of black groom-to-be Sean Bell, causing an emotional uproar inside and outside the court.

State Supreme Court Judge Arthur J. Cooperman decided the verdict alone, since the officers waived their right to a jury. With the pressure on, what was going through his head?
