Thanks to the FAA getting all anal about planes not flying while they're on fire, around 80% of the American populace appears to be presently stuck in an airport. The New York Times reported on one segment of the new Airport citizenry: military recruits trying to reach their base for basic training.

The Times looked at a handful of Navy recruits who have been stranded in airports for close to a week. The recruits are without money or clean clothes, since they were told to bring nothing to their base where they would be issued military attire.

As the airlines continue to cancel flights, how are these new recruits filling the hours?
