The Bin Ladens: we'll watch them over here so we don't have to fight them over there

You love 'em, you hate 'em, but you'll be watching them every Tuesday.

A new book out details the life of the "angry black sheep" son of a wealthy man who became very religious as an adult, rose to power and then ended up waging a war in the Middle East that has nearly destroyed the United States. We're talking, of course, about Osama Bin Laden. Steve Coll's new biography of his family, "The Bin Ladens: An Arabian Family in the American Century," was reviewed in the New York Times today.

There are, as it turns out, lots of Bin Ladens (or is it "Bins Laden?"). In fact, one FBI agent notes that "99.999999 percent of them are of the non-evil variety," which means they've beat out the Lohans.

But we've decided to wait for the inevitable reality show based on the book, which is clearly what Coll was hoping for when he gave it the title, "The Bin Ladens." That's not a bad title, but we think he can do better. Our suggestions:

  • "Growing up Terrorist"
  • "Real World/Destruction of Western Civilization Challenge"
  • "America's Next Top Jihadist"
  • "Capturing the Bin Ladens"
  • "Big Allah"
  • "Project Suicide Belt"
