Media blames McCain's alleged adulterous affair on not-John McCain
The New York Times has come under intense scrutiny for running a story about John McCain's alleged affair with a lobbyist. Said Brent Bozell of the conservative watchdog Media Research Center, "The New York Times is giving the National Enquirer a bad name... I have never seen anything like it in my life." And on Thursday, Drudgereport.com's link to the Times story read, "NOW THAT HE'S SECURED NOMINATION: NYT DOWNLOADS ON MCCAIN."
It's no surprise that Republicans are blaming the Times for reporting the story, instead of the McCain for creating it. In fact, the media has misplacing blame for hundreds of years.
