President Musharraf's political party lost big time in Pakistan's parliamentary elections on Monday. Many of the leading figures in the president's party were not re-elected, and it's looking as if the military leader will be forced to share power with a prime minister from an opposition party.

The results are seen as a rejection of Musharraf's policies since 9/11, as well as those of his ally, President Bush. What does it mean for the average American?
