FDA wants Big Pharm to stop killing people with life-saving drugs

According to a new study, people taking drugs for bipolar illness and mood disorders are twice as likely to harbor suicidal thoughts. This finding comes one week after the New York Times revealed that the FDA has begun to require that drug manufacturers study whether new medicines that combat obesity and acne also increase the risk of suicide.

If suicide is determined to be a side effect for some drugs, it's definitely time to update the warning labels.
