NOW makes feminism as attractive as Hillary Clinton's 70s glasses

Yuk it up, boys. The Ellen Jamesian Society knows where you live.

On Monday, the New York branch of the National Organization for Women rebuked Sen. Ted Kennedy for endorsing Barack Obama instead of Hillary Clinton. The letter, written by state chapter head Marcia Pappas, called Kennedy's move a "betrayal."

Few feminist and liberal blogs are in agreement. Jezebel.com called the statement "rage-happy," Feministing.com said it was, "completely unhinged," while Politico.com went with, "eyebrow-raising."

Well, if you think that NOW statement was over the top, we here at 23/6 got our paws on Pappas' first draft, along with the NOW editor's suggestions on ways to tone the missive down to its current unhinged, rage-happy state.
