If They IM'd: Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton

In his endorsement of Barack Obama yesterday, Ted Kennedy surely took Hillary Clinton by surprise, throwing his full Democratic figurehead weight behind the brash newcomer who's daring to take on another, non-Kennedy political dynasty.

Kennedy's endorsement was bad news for Bill Clinton, who's already under fire for nothing less than driving Hillary's campaign into the ground. Rather than publicly lashing out at Kennedy, however, the former president took him to task with a more reasonable, passive-aggressive approach: instant messenger. We've got the transcript.
