Unlike grandparents, toddlers are no longer fooled by bright colors, shiny objects

Toys for pre-schoolers are getting more high-tech and more adult. An executive with Amazon.com's toy and baby division says that toddlers, "want to emulate their parents, whether they are on the phone [or] on their computers. The toy industry now has pretty much got a product for every one of those behaviors."

Making calls and surfing the web aren't the only parental behaviors parroted by children's toys. For parents of toddlers, 23/6 suggests the following fun items for your wee ones this Christmas.
