Blackwater hires a PR giant to shoot its bad press dead on sight


Blackwater chairman Erik Prince has no comment on whether he is or is not feeling a little gassy.

Blackwater USA, the private security contractor, has hired public relations giant Burson-Marsteller to counteract the barrage of negative publicity it's received over the last few weeks. The vaguely Orwellian PR firm lists among its current and former clients such companies as McDonalds, Dow Chemicals, and Philip Morris.
