A NYC anchor says on-air what we all say under out breath at meetings:

Oopsie. What happened here? A teleprompter operator pulling a little prank? A not-so-subtle under-the-desk groping? Either way, the moment has become one of the most-watched Internet videos of the week.

Turns out what really prompted the outburst was co-anchor Chuck Scarborough messing around on a computer when he should have been participating in the promo voiceover. Now Newsday reports that the repercussions for Simmons are unclear, though it might include disciplinary action or even firing.
