Fox News reports on a Brazilian priest who went missing eight hours after he ascended holding 1,000 balloons:

We really liked the 1956 Albert Lamorisse film "The Red Balloon," but probably not as much as the Brazilian priest, who seemed to be acting out the scene where the boy ascends to the heavens holding helium balloons.

We thought those dime-store balloons would have held up better in the turbulent atmosphere.
