Frank Miller adapts his comic book adaptation of Will Eisner's "The Spirit" for the big screen—Charlie Kaufman would be proud:

We were just thinking "Sin City" would have been better with Samuel L. Jackson. We just have to ask: Why does this zeitgeist of turning comic books—excuse us, "graphic novels"—never work backwards? How awesome would it be to have seen the pulp comic version of "Michael Clayton"? Or "Step Up 2: The Streets"?
