Sarah Palin is the hired gun for John McCain. Seems like she'll go anywhere to be the "attack dog" as they say in politics. Some of the things that she says are pretty startling. The rest are just ridiculous.
She was quoted the other day in the New York Times...

When one of those morning "news" shows recently featured a story about people using the internet to get medical information on the same day that the New York Times dealt with that subject, I knew that this medical surfing had become an epidemic.

Someone in my family who shall remain anonymous to protect her identity--and our marriage--owns an iPhone. And she loves it. My limited research tells me that everyone who owns an iPhone, a Blackberry, or any other "smart phone" loves their phone. How can you love a phone? To me, it's...

Numbers have been very important in the Olympic Games. The number 8 is the luckiest number in the Chinese lore, so it was considered fortuitous to start the Olympics at exactly eight minutes after eight on 8/08/08. 16, 11, and 14 have been important, too. Some of the members of...

Candidates have been calling their opponents names throughout history. Here in America, they've been called, "a hell raiser," "a tax raiser," ""an abolitionist," "a pro-slaver," "a hawk," "a dove," "a communist," "a fascist," "an intellectual," or "an idiot." But lately, there is one charge that is capable of doing in...

President Bush is outraged by Russia's invasion of Georgia. And to protect Georgia's citizens, he has called for a curfew in Atlanta.
In addition to writing television shows and columns, Lloyd Garver has read many books, some of them in hardcover. He can be reached at lloydgarver@gmail.com. Check out...
