My new favorite German, Pope Benedict XVI, presided over the Good Friday Way of the Cross procession the other night.
But he did not carry the cross as planned. Why? Because it was raining.

I agree with everyone who's saying that we should put the Eliot Spitzer scandal behind us and move on to the important business of running New York State (thanks, I'm already on it; replenished my EZPass this morning!).

Attorney General Michael Mukasey is scheduled to appear tomorrow on Capitol Hill, to face the Senate Judiciary Committee.
