Memphis, TN - Feb. 8
President Bush calmed victims of Tuesday's deadly tornadoes by encouraging them to whistle. While embracing survivors Tracy, Leigh and Jake Smith of Memphis, Mr. Bush whistled a pitch-perfect rendition of Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon" as they wept into his Members Only jacket. "You can't cry if you're whistling!" said the president. "I've tried, and it is impossible." No word yet if the Smiths took the president's advice.
