Come Build in the Green Zone!

Jacob Dickerman | Bio

Travelers! Wealthy Industrialists! Seekers of fortune! Don't delay. Don't wait one day. Come and build Iraq's tomorrow, today! Come to the beautiful Green Zone, and with a tiny bit of imagination, you can turn it into a new luxury capital of the world.

The Green Zone is a wonderfully unique piece of social architecture. It is a cultured place, and the people who live in it and its surrounding areas have a flair for public art displays. Look below at the U.S. soldier enjoying a new piece, "Exploded." You may not be able to tell by looking (unless you're really clever), but all of the people, soot, and the car itself, are all made from polystyrene and wood!

The Green Zone hopes to cater to all sorts. Imagine along with us, a scale model of Las Vegas's famous Luxor Hotel. Perhaps we will even incorporate tasteful pieces from the current area into the new buildings. What would make a roof more fun to look at then a few pieces of twisted metal? Imagine being able to live in an area where you can just take a scorched piece of what was once someone's home and put it on your wall! What a conversation starter!

Of course, the biggest draw to building in the Green Zone will be the top-notch security forces that will be deployed to protect your workers. Where else in the world do you have fully trained members of the United States Army making sure that none of your supplies catch fire?

And, of course, there's tons of room to build upon what's already there. Think about the Lincoln Memorial, for example. I know what you've always thought: Wouldn't it be great if instead of boring old water, the Reflecting Pool was filled with blood? Well, luckily, the Green Zone already has one of those started! With countless deaths occurring as the years go by, many of those puddles happen to be 'of Iraqi people, by Iraqi people.' Various beheadings litter the streets. In the new Green Zone, we'll be able to direct those beheadings ourselves, making sure that they happen only in areas where the blood flow will benefit the luxury lifestyle our residents will come to know and love.

So remember! Don't think of the Green Zone as just an opportunity, think of it as an opportunity that you can't miss out on! The people are so excited for you to come and start building, they're sending up smoke signals! Can you read what that one says? It says, "Come build in Baghdad!"
