You hear a lot of talk that George W. Bush will be remembered as the worst president in history. Well, as I see it, it's results that matter--if the president makes our lives better, he's doing his job. I hate to admit it, but my life has improved in a lot of ways since he took office on January 20, 2001.

• A Trader Joe's opened in my neighborhood
• My daughter is potty-trained
• My folks moved to Dallas, which has a lot more non-stops from Los Angeles than Omaha did
• Slow-churned ice cream--damn that stuff is good!
• I got a TiVo
• Our loud neighbors moved out and a nice couple moved in
• Friends is off the air, The Office is on
• Instead of going to the store and spending $3 on a card, I can email one of those fantastic Jacquie Lawson greetings
