Hell, I flip off anybody driving a gas vehicle, including hybrid owners. I drive a 100% electric vehicle powered by 100% renewable energy. So there!

Seriously, I don't flip anybody off. Just when I drive by a gas station, I roll down the window and yell "Haw Haw!"


Obviously gas still isn't expensive enough. People bitch about it, but I haven't seen any change in driving patterns. Single occupant SUVs, racing up to stop lights to sit idling, rabbit starts, all driving behaviors that can be changed to get better mileage, yet nobody does it.

Why draw the line at Hummers? Oil is for bicycle chains!

While I'm out doing some serious cycling, which means avoiding all manner of automobiles and trucks being driven by distracted drivers going far too fast and running stop signs and red lights, my attitude is what the hell? -- give them ALL the finger!

Makes me feel so much better.

Don't you really think we should be more egalitarian this Earth Day? Why single out the Hummer drivers? I also enjoy flipping off Escalade, Denali Yukon, and Excursion drivers as I silently glide by in my hybrid. It is usually they who flip me off when they pass me on any L.A. freeway burning our gasoline at 75+ MPH. Don't be afraid to be inclusive. Happy Earth Day!

HUMMERS ARE FOR DICKS!

I won't even go with the type of men that drive these barns with doors. Nope. We'll take the men who may or may not be compensating for something, out of the equation, cause that's too easy. I want to know about the soccer mom I get stuck behind I can't see around, on the freeway or at the supermarket. Talking on her cell phone while steering this supertanker to ballet class, for the little one in back. Whatever ever happened to the Volvo station-wagon? What does it say about her, that she needs that, to run errands. I park near them, whether I want to or not, in my neighborhood all the time.

I would give them the finger but I'm afraid that they will drive over me in my hybrid!!!
