So the Today Show found a zaftig lady who rides the bus with a fake book cover reading "Fat Is Contagious: How Sitting Next to a Fat Person Can Make YOU Fat," to make people realize they treat her differently because of her weight. They plopped her down on a couch adjacent to (read: nowhere near) two skinny correspondent ladies (you know, in case that fake book cover turns out to be true) and put up an awesome chyron that not only commits the cardinal Cavuto sin of implying something is true by making an outrageous claim then putting a question mark at the end (twice), but also makes you think that the segment is about some creepy fat virus this lady is carrying and that you should not, in fact, sit next to her on the subway--you should shun her like the freak that she is. But the segment is not about that, it's about feelings and ladies and ladies' feelings like everything else on the Today Show.
