Okay. It's one thing if Rudolph Giuliani is a cross-dressing, philandering, incestuous, pandering, mob-connected, headline-grabbing, race-baiting, Yankees-bobbleheading, Kerik-promoting, estranged-from-his-kids, bad-command-post-planning, 9/11-profiteering, serial husband. But he gets his facts wrong, too?

How is this guy ever going to be Presidential? Our country can't afford a President who lies! Especially when he's making public pronouncements about his record. I mean, under oath I would understand. Those elitist prosecutors who are always looking to launch their political careers by going after Wall Street traders or mobbed-up hoodlums are always trying to trap you.

Parsing language under oath I get; depending on your definition of what language even is anymore. I can't handle the truth. But lying? Trudy. Trudy. Trudy. How will I ever really know the real Trudy?

I thought I did know the real Trudy on 9/10. That was the guy who was kicked out of his mansion by his wife and needed a place to stay so he started co-habitating with a few of his guy pals. It was like The Odd Couple meets Three's Company with all dudes.

But 9/11 changed everything.

What am I going to tell the kids now? Yes, he totally bailed on the rescue workers at Ground Zero. He had to be tough. 9/11 changed everything. Yes, he went on booty calls with an NYPD escort out to the tony Hamptons; then hid the expenses in trivial City programs. 9/11 changed everything!

Besides, he's a Republican who used to be a Democrat. He was trying to keep City Hall lean and mean. And okay. He was rooting for the Red Sox after being the Yankees mascot all these years. That's the way the ball bounces after 9/11. We can no longer afford to "root" for one team in a rivalry between American sports franchises that have hated each other for the last 100 years. We've got to stay nimble after 9/11.
He lives in New York City for 65 years then tells people New York City is filled with weirdos and wackos who he hates...even though they voted him their leader. It happens.

But, now I'm faced with a future where every time Trudy opens his mouth I know he might not be telling me the truth. 9/11 didn't change everything. 11/27 did. Because that's the day when I lost my faith in Rudy.
