I've never seen Laguna Beach. Which makes me wonder: did Stephen's reunion with Lauren only seem boring and useless because I don't know the backstory? Did I miss some subtle reference to their thrilling past? Was Lauren's eyebrow raise a nod to a pregnancy scare? Were the five minutes of staring actually meant to be a moment of silence for the fisherman they killed?

I left out Audrina because apparently there is some 2001 Destiny's Child tension going between these three. Audrina's living in the guest house!

Lauren reveals that she and Audrina don't go shopping together because they have different styles. What? Why do you have to have the same style as your friend to go shopping with her?
